To explain the structure–property relations, a crystal structure S with infinitely many representations under isometry should be bijectively mapped by a complete and continuous invariant I to the space of invariants so that any image I(S) can be efficiently inverted back to a representative crystal [S\subset\mathbb{R}^{3}].
