The cell dimensions of W_1xTa_xSe₂

The cell dimensions of W_1−xTa_xSe₂ have been measured over the composition range 0 ≤ x ≤ 1. Apart from four weak unidentified lines whose intensity varies with method of preparation the X-ray powder patterns show a hexagonal call for which c decreases and a increases linearly with x over the whole composition range.
