Crystal data on bismuth sulphide bromide, Bi₁₉S₂₇Br₃

The title compound was synthesized by high-temperature methods and single crystals were grown from the vapour. The space group is either P6₃ or P6₃/m. X-ray powder data are listed and lead to a = 15.486 (2) and c = 4.018 (1) Å.
