Methylammonium manganese(II) trichloride crystallizes with a hexagonal unit cell, a = 7.626 (2) Å, c = 6.399 (1) Å, Z = 2, space group P6₃/mmc or P6₃mc. It is isostructural with CsCdBr₃.
