Crystal data for cycasin, methylazoxymethyl β-D-glucoside

Crystals of cycasin were grown from solution in absolute ethyl alcohol at 0°C. The unit cell is monoclinic P2₁/c, with crystal data: a = 15.754±0.001, b = 9.708±0.001, c = 15.422±0.001 Å, β = 109.83±0.005°, Z = 8, D_m = 1.49, D_x = 1.51 g cm⁻³.
