The α-Pyridyl Nucleoside Analogue 2-Bromo-5-(2-deoxy-α-D-ribofuranosyl)pyridine

The structure of the title compound, C₁₀H₁₂BrNO₃, is reported. The ribose sugar has a C3′-endo pucker and the exocyclic torsion angle O5′-C5′-C4′-C3′ adopts a gauche⁺ value of 61.0 (9)°.
