M. Parvez, S. T. E. Mesher and P. D. Clark

The crystals of the title compound, C₉H₄S₄, are composed of essentially planar molecules separated by normal van der Waals distances, with S=C and S-C_sp² (mean) bond distances of 1.641 (7) and 1.741 (11) Å, respectively.
