The feasibility of using soft X-rays from the Aladdin storage ring for small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) experiments was demonstrated through the study of the diffraction patterns of polyethylene, paraffin and polystyrene latex spheres using monochromated radiation in the range 4.0-7.1 Å.
