The title compound, bis[di(carbonyl-C)(η⁵-methoxycarbonylcyclopentadienyl)(trimethylphosphite-P)molybdenum](Mo—Mo), [Mo(η-C₇H₇O₂)(C₃H₉PO₃)(CO)₂]₂, belongs to a type of dinuclear molybdenum complex with an Mo—Mo single-bond length of 3.230 (4) Å. The molecule has C_i symmetry, with two asymmetric units which are connected to each other through the Mo—Mo bond.
