X-ray Structure Investigations of Potential β-Blockers. II. 6,7-Dimethoxy-1-phenyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline

The saturated part of the isoquinoline moiety in the title compound, C₁₇H₁₉NO₂, has a twist conformation and the phenyl ring substituent is in an equatorial position. The absolute configuration of the molecule is R and molecules form infinite chains by means of weak hydrogen bonds.
