A New Ammonium Manganese(II) Gallium Phosphate Hydrate: NH₄[MnGa₂(PO₄)₃(H₂ O)₂]

The title compound, ammonium manganese(II) digallium tris(phosphate) dihydrate, was synthesized solvothermally in the presence of guanidinium chloride. The structure consists of GaO₅, MnO₆ and PO₄ polyhedra linked to form a three-dimensional framework containing channels in which the NH₄⁺ cations reside.
