Schematic layout of BL25SU at SPring-8, consisting of the pre-focus mirrors (Mh and Mv), a monochromator (S1–M1 or M2–G–S2) and the post-focusing mirrors (M3 and M4). The monochromator is a constant-deviation type in combination with the spherical mirror (M1 or M2) and the varied-line-spacing plane grating. Two experimental stations (ST1 and ST2) are located between M3 and M4. A small spot size is obtained at the position of the ST3 station.
