Projected signal counts as a function of photon flux for various detectors. The estimations are based on high-flux (more than 1012) and high-dilution (200:1 background-to-signal ratio) conditions. Optimized filter/slits are used for the Ge detector and the ionization chamber. The distribution of the scattered background is assumed to be homogeneous.
