The PF1 slits mounted on the 2θ arm of the powder diffractometer on station 2.3 at Daresbury Laboratory. The photograph was taken with the camera looking at the apparatus from above the beam pipe. To reveal the parallel foils, the short vertical slits and the vacuum vessel were removed.
