Image of a monochromatic beam after passage through a CVD-grown diamond plate. No diamond-related spurious phase images are observed, but local dips in the intensity are associated with Bragg diffraction by diamond crystallites (50–100 µm). The sample–detector distance was 2.4 m at an X-ray energy of 20 keV.
