Magnified image of the outermost region of the sample zone plate. A line-and-space pattern as fine as 100 nm can be imaged. The image was taken without the diffuser. The left-most zone in (a) corresponds to the outermost zone of the sample zone plate (indicated by a solid arrow). The magnification of the zooming tube was ×100 and the exposure time was 10 min.
