Temperature dependence of the high-resolution HeI UPS spectra near the Fermi level for (La1−zNdz)0.46Sr0.54MnO3 for (a) z = 0, (b) z = 0.2, (c) z = 0.6 and (d) z = 1.0. The density of states at EF is finite in all the spectra. The vertical dashed line indicates EF determined by the reference gold. The electrical resistivity of (La1−zNdz)0.46Sr0.54MnO3 (z = 0.2, 0.4, 0.8 and 1.0) reported by Akimoto et al. (1998BB1) is shown in (e).
