Change of d-spacing of reflection (147) as a function of time/dose of L-asparagine monohydrate, T = 100 K, [\lambda] = 1.0 Å, at different beam intensities. Starting at full beam (∼4 × 1012 photons s−1 mm−2) for the measurement points labelled by `1/3', the beam was attenuated by a 300 µm Al foil. The crystal was continuously illuminated except during the gaps in the diagram. The temperature was set to 270 K for the experiments after t = 150 min. See main text for further information.
