Correlation of R values and free R values. Each spot stands for one structure. The correlation coefficient over a total of 14746 structures is 0.814 (see Table 8[link]). The R value distribution has a mean of 0.199 and a standard deviation of 0.032 and the free R value distribution has a mean of 0.248 and a standard deviation of 0.039.
