The values were calculated using the XCOM server (https://physics.nist.gov/PhysRefData/Xcom/Text/XCOM.html ) at NIST (Gaithersburg, MD, USA) based on the composition of an average protein crystal (9% H, 27% C, 8% N, 55% O and 1% S).
