Figure 10
X-ray diffraction from an ADP/ATP carrier protein at λ = 5.76 Å. The crystal was rotated by 5° during a 30 min exposure. Most of the observed diffraction peaks can be explained by the predicted peak positions (circles). Other reflections appear to emerge from other parts of the bent crystal. As the intensity distribution recorded on the image plate has been filtered with a mask, the beam stop (horizontal rod) is presented by its contour lines. |
