Calculated reflectivity plots of platinum, rhodium and two bilayers consisting of either 4 nm or 8 nm rhodium over 25 nm platinum. Zero angstrom roughness is assumed. The bilayer extends the energy-range cut-off beyond that for a simple rhodium mirror whilst reducing the effects of the platinum L absorption edges.
