The absolute relative shifts of the positions of the first four reflections from an Fe powder sample as functions of the total count rate (cf. Figs. 9a and 9b[link]). Uniform fill of the ESRF storage ring is assumed. The shift is positive (0 < ΔE) for reflections 110, 200 and 211, and negative for 220. The positions are calculated from Gaussian fits to the reflection profiles.
