An image in which the loop is not visible in the camera field of view; only the blurry image of the pin that carries the loop is visible. The centering method discussed in the text can adapt to this situation by increasing the number of iterations used in the process. The loop comes into focus during the later iterations, allowing for proper centering. (Field of view: 4.2 mm × 2.9 mm.)
