In vivo XFCT, XTCT and superimposed images of normal mouse brains obtained at 1 mm (a) and 0.5 mm (b) in-plane spatial resolution. The XFCT image visualized cerebral perfusion in the cortex and thalamus at 1 mm in-plane spatial resolution, and detailed cerebral perfusion in the cortex and hippocampus at 0.5 mm in-plane spatial resolution. The XTCT image demonstrates only the margin of the head and skull bone; however, the image quality at 0.5 mm in-plane spatial resolution was excellent. The superimposed image depicts the correspondence between anatomical features and functional state.
