XRD spectra of Fe3C at 17 GPa and 1000 K and 300 K (λ = 0.8603 Å). The small peak at ∼18° belongs to calcite, a minor contaminant which does not affect NRIXS measurements. The broad peak at 20.5° is the diffraction of the mirror in the laser-heating set-up.
