Example of true azimuth angle (χ) dependence of d-spacing of the 311 reflection of ringwoodite. The bold line represents the result of a least-squares fit of dm(311) to equation (1)[link] (see text). The determined dP(311) and Q(311) are 2.3976 Å and 0.00665, respectively. We calculated the hydrostatic pressure and t(311) as 8.2 GPa and 5.0 GPa, respectively. Errors of these plots in the vertical axis are smaller than the size of the symbols.
