Time spectra of NRS from a 57Fe absorber, for selected directions and magnitudes of the magnetic hyperfine field Bhf. The spectra were calculated using the CONUSS code (Sturhahn, 2000BB22). k is the incident photon direction, whereas σ and π form the linear polarization basis of the synchrotron radiation. The in-plane angle between the hyperfine field Bhf and the σ-vector of the incoming radiation is given by the angle θ.
