Principal scheme (a) and three-dimensional design (b) of the instruments inside the experimental chamber. The incoming beam is focused by one of the two Schwarzschild objectives and the sample can be scanned across the beam to obtain the photoemission intensity distribution maps within selected angle and energy windows. The main components are Schwarzschild objectives (SO1 and SO2), electron analyzer (EA), goniometer (G), sample holder (SH), scanning stage (SS) and cryostat (C).
