Each pad of the detector (labeled A–D and indicated with arrows) is wire-bonded to copper electrodes. Inset: close-up view of a similar device mounted to a PCB board. The diamonds shown are 4 mm × 4 mm, the metallization ends 0.25 mm from the edge of the diamond and the spacing between metallized regions is 50 µm.
