Scatter plots of strain and rotation errors calculated using Monte Carlo simulation of the diffraction experiment. Strains are expressed in microstrain and rotations are expressed in degrees. There is a high correlation between yz-shear and rotation about the x-axis ([\alpha]) and between xz-shear and rotation about the y-axis ([\beta]).
