Angular position of the oscillating stage (Δθ) as read by the encoder as a function of time. Time is normalized by the oscillation period in order to compare the curves on the same scale. Oscillations of 0.25° and 1° have been recorded at 0.1 Hz, 1 Hz and 10 Hz, increasing speed and amplitude smooth-off irregularities in the movement of the cam as the instantaneous speed increases.
