Autoionization spectrum of the 16s line of Xe recorded with 2400 lines mm−1 grating and 5 µm slits (20 µeV steps, 1 s per point). The solid line shows a Voigt profile fitting yielding a Gaussian FWHM instrumental resolution of 56 µeV linewidth (resolving power 238000). The background is due to the underlying 14d broad resonance.
