Iron XRF from Volcelia: (a) detector 1, (b) detector 2, (c) sum and (d) difference. Unlike the Ca sum image the compensated Fe sum image closely follows the surface relief signal of the difference image. This further supports the correlation of Fe with chisel marks and inscription. The pixel size equals the beam size of 1 mm × 1 mm.
