Top panel: intensity–2θ plot of the cubic indexed 220 peak in PMN–0.32PT as a function of applied field from 0 kV mm−1 (highest intensity data) to 1 kV mm−1 (lowest intensity data) incremented in steps of 0.05 kV mm−1. Bottom panels: peak fitting of the same peak at 0 and 1 kV mm−1. The reflected intensity from the monoclinic phase is plotted in blue, and the tetragonal phase in red, with reflection markers at the bottom of the plot. The total reflected intensity (black) is compared with the fitted model (green) by the difference curve at the bottom in grey.
