L is the length of the mirror, d is the distance between the supports and t is the distance between the prop load points. FS1 and FS2 are the forces applied to the mirror at its supports, and FP1 and FP2 the forces applied by the props to compensate for the sag under gravity. The gravitational force (not shown) is applied evenly across the whole mirror.
