Single-exposure dual-energy imaging set-up using a synchrotron source. Initially the beam is dominated by the fundamental (low) energy component. An aluminium plate acts as a high-pass filter so that subsequently the harmonic (high) energy component dominates. Two phosphors and cameras simultaneously capture the low- and high-energy images. z1 and z2, the distances between the sample and detectors, were 8 cm and 36 cm, respectively. |
