Left, the high-heat-load double-crystal monochromator is shown together with the beam stop for the white beam (BS). It is followed by the optional high-resolution monochromator foreseen for the HAXPES station. Phase-retarder and focusing mirrors are also located in the optics hutch. On the right, optical components within the first (P09-EH1) and the second experimental hutches (P09-EH2) are shown up to the diffractometers.
