A data set with error bars, generated by randomizing three Gaussian peaks with different amplitudes and different centers, but all with the same peak shape. Whether the generating peaks are Gaussian or are generated by any other means, analytic or numeric, is irrelevant for the illustration, as long as they all have the same shape.
