Resonant SX-ARPES at the Mn L3-edge in (Ga,Mn)As: (a) Mn L3 XAS spectrum, with the arrows showing the ferromagnetic and paramagnetic components; (b) ARPES images taken with a few indicated hν values across the XAS spectrum with s-polarization and represented in negative second derivative −d2I/dE2 > 0. Tuning hν on the ferromagnetic XAS peak at 640 eV immediately reveals the Mn impurity band causing the ferromagnetism of (Ga,Mn)As (Kobayashi et al., 2013BB11).
