Calculated acceptance angle of the monochromator compared with the divergence of the source. Using the silicon (111) reflection, the monochromator cannot accept the full vertical fan of radiation from the source for X-ray energies above 4 keV. For reference we have also given the divergence caused by the finite vertical size of the source.
