Touschek lifetime as a function of equilibrium emittance assuming the bare lattice emittance could be adjusted freely while keeping the energy spread constant (Leemann, 2012dBB56). The overall MA has been set to 4.5% while the vertical emittance is adjusted to 8 pm rad. The effect of Landau cavities (LCs) is included. The equilibrium emittance of the MAX IV 3 GeV storage ring bare lattice [\varepsilon_0] = 328 pm rad is indicated.
