Top: Opera3d model of corrector pair, view from vertical corrector side [no 2D simulation was made since the correctors are short and located close together; the corrector pair was designed using Opera3d (https://operafea.com/ )]. The coil current directions are set so as to generate a horizontally directed field between the left and right poles. The simulated integrated strength is ∼3.8 T mm (0.38 mrad) at NI = 1280 A both for horizontal and vertical. Bottom: assembled U3 magnet block bottom half showing one corrector pair.
