Pre-edge variogram for spectra of reference compounds, which are shown in Fig. 7[link]. Circled data points correspond to the four references samples covered in detail in the previous sections. Grey areas highlight the groups of points corresponding to the four types of Fe species. The uncertainties determined graphically from this plot are ±0.2 eV in centroid position and ±0.03 in integrated intensity. The peak width (FWHM) and Gaussian fraction (xGaussian) of the pseudo-Voigt functions used for peak fitting are presented in Table 3[link].
