Fe K-edge XANES of an Rh–Fe/Ca–Al2O3 catalyst reduced under flowing H2. The catalyst was reduced in 10% H2 mixed with He at three different temperatures, 550, 650 and 700 K, with a heating rate of 10 K min−1. The temperature was held for one hour at each temperature mentioned above. Five XANES spectra were selected from hundreds of data sets to follow the reducibility of this catalyst.
