) and (b) dynamic compression setup developed at the ECB. (c) Integrated one-dimensional diffraction patterns of liquid gallium on pressure increase using the dynamic DAC. Pressure is increased at a rate of 1 GPa s⁻¹ and two-dimensional diffraction images were collected every 67 ms using an XRD 1621 detector. One may clearly see the growth of a solid crystal of Ga-III from the liquid.
