The solid curves show the accessible spectral range from E1 to [{E_1} + {{\Delta }}E] of a QEXAFS measurement at constant oscillation frequency using Si(111) and Si(311) crystals. QEXAFS measurements are possible within the greyish areas beneath the solid curves.
