Two-dimensional micro-XRF RGB image of a polished thin-section from the West African Craton, with Cr (red), Ni (green) and Fe (blue). The scanned area was approximately 8 mm × 3.4 mm with 600 nm × 600 nm pixel size and a dwell of 0.5 ms per pixel (De Andrade et al., 2014BB7).
