Comparison of calculated flux values, corresponding to Fig. 4[link], as a function of X-ray energy for the three computer programs SPECTRA, XOP and spec.exe, for the four SCMPW fields considered (1.40, 2.00, 3.00 and 4.00 T). The results are presented as %-differences relative to the spec.exe results. The minimum flux value considered was 1 photon s−1 (0.1% bandwidth)−1 and running averages over nine data points have been used. Further details are provided in the text.
