Photograph of a block keeper. The magnetic structure, which is coated with TiNi (in bronze colour), starts with a CoFe pole and ends with a NdFeB magnet. It host 22 periods (44 poles and 44 magnets). Each magnet-pole pair can be vertically displaced by ±30 µm with the help of a flexor moved by a wedge driven by a screw, as can be seen in the front cross section of the above picture.
